As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our projects by managing financial activities, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with project managers, financial controller, and other stakeholders to track project costs, analyze financial data, and provide timely reports to support decision-making.

What you will be responsible for:
As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our projects by managing financial activities, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with project managers, financial controller, and other stakeholders to track project costs, analyze financial data, and provide timely reports to support decision-making.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure projects are on track financially.
- Track and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead expenses.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts and provide regular updates on budget variances.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow projections, and project cost reports, to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to projects, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial expertise and support project objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices is a plus.
