Job Description:
We're looking for a strategic Duck Creek Technical Lead who will drive delivery excellence on key client programs while also helping grow our Duck Creek competency and practice in the U.S. This individual will play a pivotal role in large-scale Duck Creek implementations - especially around complex P&C products (Personal and Commercial) and act as a trusted advisor at the intersection of technology and insurance business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery for Duck Creek Policy and Billing implementations, with a strong focus on implementing complex P&C personal & commercial products.
- Engage with client stakeholders to understand product structures, rating needs, workflows, and integration points - translating them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Take ownership of full lifecycle delivery - from requirements through configuration, integration, and production support.
- Provide expert-level guidance on Express 3.0, Transact, Rating, Rules, User Admin, and DC Anywhere APIs.
- Ensure seamless integration between Duck Creek and third-party applications using APIs, Web Services, and batch processes.
- Leverage experience in both Duck Creek On-Prem and On-Demand (DCOD) environments to guide clients on the right-fit deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to shape and validate product models, rating logic, referral/task flows, and page designs.
- Play a key role in practice-building efforts - mentoring teams, creating accelerators/assets, supporting sales pursuits, and driving certification readiness.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy/Billing/Integration (flexible for high-potential candidates).
- Proven experience implementing Dwelling Fire and other personal/commercial P&C lines.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale Duck Creek implementations, preferably multi-state, or multi-product rollouts.
- Duck Creek Policy Configurator Certified; Master Level Certifications in Policy and Billing strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance product structures, business rules, and rating engines.
- Hands-on expertise in .NET, MS SQL Server, and modern design patterns.
- Solid grasp of both business needs and technical constraints - able to bridge the gap between product owners and development teams.
- Prior onshore experience (U.S.) supporting client delivery or technical leadership roles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to Travel
