Job Description
AROMA, the leading brand in small kitchen appliances for all major national retailers has an immediate hire opportunity for a full-time Account Manager in our San Diego office.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the sales department to meet/exceed sales objectives using analytical skills, managing spreadsheets, overseeing PO’s, building relationships with customers, and managing daily account responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with sales managers to develop and execute product strategies and sales objectives, build and maintain relationships with buying team on assigned accounts
- Work with outside sales representatives to advise on account details, samples, etc.
- Design assortments, present and negotiate pricing programs and terms with internal decision makers
- Coordinate and facilitate day-to-day order fulfillment, forecasting, new product introduction(s), assortment sell-through, manage account growth objectives, research & manage chargebacks
- Collect market insights, competitive information and consumer trends to maximize sales, monitor account specific online reviews
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve account specific issues as they may arise
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS degree in Business related field
- Proven 1 - 3 years of account managing / sales support experience
- Bilingual in English/Chinese (preferred)
- Industry knowledge of consumer products, housewares and kitchen appliances is a plus
- Good understanding of business concepts and pricing strategies
- Strong analytical & math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP software
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills. Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and completing priorities
- Strong problem solving skills and quick, effective decision making
- Ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment and exhibit a positive team attitude
