Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our Fragrance manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and formulation of compounds used in our production processes. This position requires a strong understanding of materials handling, laboratory practices, and adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. The Compounder will work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure high-quality production and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Prepare and compound raw materials according to established formulas and specifications.
- Operate machinery and equipment involved in the compounding process, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify that all compounded materials meet required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production, including materials used, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with CGMP regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for effective materials handling and inventory management.
- Assist in packaging finished products for distribution as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in machining techniques relevant to the compounding process.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Experience in fabricating components or products as part of the compounding process.
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in warehouse operations, including materials handling practices.
- Laboratory experience is preferred, particularly in a chemical or pharmaceutical context.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely for material transport within the facility.
- Competence in packaging processes to ensure product integrity during distribution.
