We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for commercial, and industrial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, and controllers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues (e.g., leaks, electrical problems).
- Perform system checks to ensure efficiency and proper water coverage.
- Program and adjust controllers for optimal operation.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance, including system winterization and start-ups.
- Communicate with managers about system operations and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an irrigation technician 3 years of experience preffered.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation system components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to irrigation systems.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
