About the Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the Teacher in designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring seamless collaboration between the Teacher and support staff.
- Prepares and supervises nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Promotes positive relationships with parents and guardians, fostering open communication and community engagement.
- Maintains accurate records of children's progress, facilitating informed decision-making and data-driven program development.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and in-process college degree are highly desirable.
- Head Start Performance Standards and Child Care License Regulations are preferred knowledge areas.
- FIRST Aid and CPR certification is required.
