Aroplax Corporation is an ISO-9001 certified manufacturer that provides engineering services and custom injection-molded plastic parts to our customers around the world. Aroplax is proud to be a family-owned business for over 80 years, located in Monticello, MN. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will serve as the primary point of contact for Aroplax customers. The position could be part-time or full-time.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience required; manufacturing environment preferred
- Computer skills, software knowledge (MS Office), typing and 10-key skills required
- Strong communication, problem solving, and customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Self-directed and ability to prioritize work independently
Responsibilities:
- Serve as direct point of contact for customers, including entering production orders, ensuring all necessary information has been received and entered into the system, communicating the status of orders, and discussing any potential issues.
- Work with customers on accuracy of received purchase order when customer needs assistance.
- Meet with customers as needed.
- Compute rate quotes for inbound/outbound freight class. Process customer’s request for freight pick up and meet with freight representatives to set up accounts with negotiate discounts.
- Verify shipments between ARO/AFC have been processed to ensure accuracy of invoicing and inventory.
- Monitor on-time delivery of shipments with Production and assist with invoicing questions.
- Review and analyze customer change requests to identify areas of concern and provide information to the scheduler, shipping department, and Director of Finance.
- Communicate any changes in customer demands or outstanding issues with customer orders, products, or RMAs to Operations group.
- Provide customer service reports as needed.
- Serve as backup for receptionist/phones.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
