Job Title : Director of Finance
Location : Canada, US, or REMOTE
We’re hiring! Arrae is a leading wellness brand specializing in 100% natural supplements to help everyday issues. As we continue to grow at an accelerated pace, we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Director of Finance to oversee our financial activities and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial systems.
Responsibilities :
- Financial Strategy : Develop, implement, and refine financial strategies that align with Arrae's overall goals and objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making processes.
- Financial Modeling : Develop financial models and scenarios to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and growth strategies. Analyze potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships for financial viability.
- Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity while maximizing return on investments. Implement effective cash management practices and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Debt Management : Work with debt providers to secure debt financing for inventory and other company operations. Must have experience with building out cash flow models in relation to debt financing.
- Tax Management : Manage intercompany taxes between US and Canadian corporations. Must be an expert at dealing with sales, federal, and intercountry tax rules.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to establish accurate and actionable budgets. Prepare and communicate regular financial forecasts to guide resource allocation and business planning.
- Financial Reporting : Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Present financial results to the executive team.
- Risk Management : Assess and mitigate financial risks by implementing internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring a high level of performance. Promote a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development, to align financial goals with overall business objectives. Provide financial insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable : Manage a team to help process invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
