Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other radiologic exams as needed.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety standards.
- Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and proper diagnostic detail before submission.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses, to ensure effective patient care.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, including radiation safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current state Radiologic Technologist license (Michigan).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with various radiologic equipment and imaging procedures preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
