Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN CRCU/ICU to join our Float Pool team. As a member of the Float Pool, you will provide nursing support across various units based on departmental needs. You may be assigned to any Ascension campus, ensuring flexibility and adaptability. This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to broaden their experience and take on additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Float to various units based on staffing needs, including Critical Care and ICU departments.
- Provide high-quality patient care in line with clinical standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Receive charge nurse training and participate in leadership opportunities.
- Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to working in multiple areas.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Kansas state licensure.
- Experience in Critical Care, ICU, or similar areas required.
- Ability to float to various departments based on need.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Charge nurse experience or willingness to take on charge nurse responsibilities is a plus.
