LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

POSITION PROFILE

We're looking for a qualified Laundry Attendant that's prepared to launder all linen and terry for our guest rooms to assist in maintaining pristine accommodations for our guests.

Located at ARRIVE Wilmington, the restaurant offers Southern coastal flavors with a global twist using locally-sourced ingredients in its intimate and thoughtfully designed dining room. This local favorite offers breakfast, barista service, dinner, and weekend brunch. THE TASK AT HAND:

• Process and clean all hotel linens, including sheets, towels, blankets, etc. with precision and care.
• Operate laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines, efficiently and safely.
• Inspect linens for stains and damage, ensuring that only top-quality items are returned to circulation.
• Organize and stock linen shelves within the laundry room to maintain a smooth flow of clean linens.
• Communicate with housekeeping team to maintain stocked linen on upper storage closets.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in all laundry operations, including cleaning the dryer lint trap and sweep/mop laundry room as needed.
• Working a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and need periods
• Following uniform guidelines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality
• Guest service oriented
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hour and requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
• Flexible schedule - ability to work a variety of shifts
