Outside Sales - Home Services/Wildlife
Job Summary
The primary duty of a Home Services/Wildlife salesperson is to sell Arrow Exterminator's services. The Home Evaluator must be able to effectively interact with all segments of our existing and potential customer base. The goal is to develop relationships with existing and potential customers and generate initial and recurring revenue through making sales and obtaining contracts for services.
Job Function and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections for any wildlife pests, conducive conditions, entry points and propose corrective actions
- Provide recommended treatments or corrective actions in the control of wildlife including exclusions, trapping, and removal
- Ablilty to identify wildlife pests
- Knowledge of biology and proper treatment and control methods for wildlife pests
- Knowledge of inspection requirements for wildlife pest problems in residences and commercial establishments
- Knowledge of state rules, regulations and laws regarding the control, trapping, and dispatching of wildlife
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of residential, commercial and remodeling construction and building techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time Management
- Basic math skills
- Ability to pass any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
- Able to work a 40 hour (minimum) work week
- Possess current Driver License in the state where you work
- Ability to pass background and drug screening tests
- Has less than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years and no DUI/DWI in the past 7 years
- High school degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Constant mobility including walking, crawling, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, looking, probing, climbing, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching and standing for long periods
- Climbing into attics and crawling in crawlspaces
- Operation of hand and power equipment
- Listening to loud noise from tools and equipment
- Long hours of physical labor
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Driving of vehicle
- Work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions
- May withstand extreme conditions such as heat in an attic in Summer or chill of crawlspace in Winter
- Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt, insects and animal remains
- Some work in cramped spaces
