Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fence Installer to assemble and install a variety of fencing types, including chain link, iron, vinyl, and wood. This hands-on role involves working on diverse projects and ensuring that all installations meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stage jobs by gathering and preparing all necessary materials for fence installation
- Dig post holes using hand tools and light/heavy equipment
- Transport posts to holes of various heights, weights, and materials
- Set posts in concrete using hand tools, ready-mix trucks, and trailers
- Haul and mix 80 lbs. concrete bags, shovel and pour concrete into holes
- Carry 5-gallon buckets of water as needed
- Maintain a clean job site by removing dirt and concrete using hand tools and equipment
- Erect fences by organizing materials, installing framing, rails, pickets, and tension wire
- Stretch, tie, and fasten fencing components, and complete other related tasks
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- A valid driver's license is required
- Ability to lift 80 lbs. or more
- Experience in fencing/construction
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
