Our client is a full service renewable energy company that is owned by a private equity firm. The Accounting Manger is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and optimize financial performance
- Coordinate and facilitate external audits including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws
- Serve as a liaison between finance/accounting and other departments providing financial information and analysis to support cross-functional initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 6-8 years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience managing a team
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
