Our client is a leading public REIT with over $5 billion in AUM and a focus on healthcare assets. The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee the drafting of SEC filings, the oversight of the external audit functions, and will have direct exposure to senior officers of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare all of the SEC filings containing quarterly, annual, or pro forma financial statements
- Manage and prepare public filings containing consolidated financial statements
- Manage and prepare annual financial statements for audit requirements including those related to joint venture arrangements and statutory reporting
- Manage the external audit process and the SOX compliance procedures
- Perform research on new SEC regulations, new accounting standards, and transaction-specific disclosures as needed
- Manage and prepare the redemptions, fair value calculations, and dividends for the firm
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA required
- 6-8 years of experience with a background in public accounting
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
- Experience with Workiva
- REIT knowledge a plus
