Our client is a private investment firm with over $100 billion in AUM with a focus on global real estate. The Financial Systems Accountant will liaise with the firm’s accounting and technology team and has an interest in systems based work.
Responsibilities
- Assist accounting team with troubleshooting complex fund level calculations for waterfalls, capital calls, distributions, consolidations, and fees
- Review accounting requests to ensure consistency, efficiency, and correct system use
- Yardi system maintenance of entities, ownership structure and other tables/data fields related to properties and reporting, including attributes
- Yardi system support including daily requests, monthly processes, upgrades/service releases and reports
- Testing and enhancements for Yardi as well as applications that consume data from or provide data to Yardi
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, including consolidations, financial reporting and general ledger;
- Experience in the real estate industry a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting systems/Yardi experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
