Responsibilities
- Develop and execute demand forecasting strategies and processes to accurately predict product demand, optimize finished goods inventory levels, and minimize stock-outs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning, inventory control, and replenishment strategies
- Utilize statistical methods, data visualization, and other advanced techniques, to evaluate global supply chain performance and support decision making at strategic and tactical levels
- Develop and maintain robust analytical models and tools to analyze global supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and business continuity measures to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations that support customer service level objectives
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics to monitor supply chain performance
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to management on key objectives, initiatives, supply chain metrics / KPI’s, and other areas as required
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering required
- 10-15 years of experience in supply chain planning & analysis, forecasting, operations, and/or supply management
- Experience managing a team required
- Extensive knowledge of global supply chain management principles
- Thorough understanding of financial drivers and their impact on the financial performance of supply chain operations
- Familiarity with sales and operations planning processes and data requirements
- Professional certification in supply chain required
