The Tax Analyst will assist the team with tax planning and compliance for the management company, funds, and managed accounts.
Responsibilities
$90,000-$110,000
Our client is a global investment firm with over $75 billion in AUM that uses creative strategies to generate attractive returns for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity. The Tax Analyst will assist the team with tax planning and compliance for the management company, funds, and managed accounts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of the management company and general partner entity federal, state & local tax returns with outside accountants
- Assist with the preparation of the foreign tax filings related to overseas operating entities
- Assist with the preparation of and review the vendor Forms W-8/W-9’s
- Prepare work papers, computations, and partner allocations including proper characterization of taxable income and expense amounts
- Maintain tax basis fixed asset ledgers
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision computations and accompanying financial statement footnotes
- Prepare communications in response to notices from federal, state & local tax authorities
- Assist with tax team automation initiatives and special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax
- 1-3 years of tax compliance experience
- Experience with domestic and international tax
- Exposure to multiple entity structures a plus
