Our client is a multi-strategy hedge fund with over $3 billion in AUM using a scientific and technology-driven approach for its investments.
Responsibilities
- Support daily trading activities, working closely with trading, research, engineering, and vendors
- Synthesize incoming market information, economic announcements, and communicate information to the investment team
- Run daily trade operations with oversight from trading and the rest of the team
- Daily reconciliation of the firm’s active positions against internally developed models
- Run specific processes and lockdown daily trading activities
- Provide market feedback and execute cash management trades as needed
- Daily oversight of the firm’s automated trading system and preparation of the execution metrics
- Develop improvements to the trading system to reduce transaction costs
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of experience in a trading position or similar
- Knowledge of global macro markets and market microstructure
- Trading operations experience required
- Strong analytical skills
