Our client is a leading global investment firm managing over $32 billion in AUM. They focus on long-term investments that deliver tactical solutions. The Valuations Vice President will be responsible for the quarterly valuations of certain products.
Responsibilities
- Build and prepare valuation support (income and market)
- Collaborate with investment teams to understand original underwriting and ongoing considerations
- Collect key metrics from investment contacts to track performance and understand status of operating initiatives
- Present valuation results regularly to executives and key investors
- Collaborate with investment teams to develop qualitative updates for inclusion in client and management reporting
- Implement processes and controls to improve valuation and reporting standards
- Work closely with third parties and auditors to present and support valuations
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required
- 3-5 years of work experience in corporate finance role, some valuation experience a plus deep understanding of private equity business model
- CFA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong Excel skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently
