Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Answers and transfers phone calls to appropriate departments/individuals
- Accurately collects customer, loss details, residence, billing, and insurance details for scheduling team
- Welcoming and directing walk-in customers and clients
- Invoicing daily sales for our Reconstruction, Mitigation, Contents, and Carpet/Duct teams
- Sending invoices to appropriate parties
- Taking and processing customer payments (in person or by phone)
- Enter vendor bills into Quick Books and image/upload into company software
- Notating accounts with progress notes though company software
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and have general computer/technology skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be very detailed and have time management skills
- Excellent phone skills/etiquette
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to show empathy
- Ability to handle stress and be able to work under pressure while exhibiting emotional control.
- Must be dependable
Pay:
- Starting at $16.50 - $18.00 per hour starting, but depends on experience
- 90-day review (eligible for wage adjustment if applicable)
- Annual reviews based off anniversary date (eligible for wage adjustment if applicable)
Schedule:
- 28 to 30 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 9am - 3:00pm (but flexible)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (minimum)
Physical Demands:
- Lift (minimal) 5-20 lbs.
- Involves sitting/standing/walking
- Occasional crouching/stooping/reaching/kneeling/handling
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (required)
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
