Key Responsibilities :
Lead by example ensuring all safety protocols and production standards are met
Train team members on machine operation, quality control, and safety procedures
Monitor and adjust wire / machine settings for optimal performance
Operate and set up down cutters, slabbers, and valley machines
Accurately complete production records with attention to detail
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all shutdown and startup procedures
Ensure proper material selection and efficient use to reduce waste
Identify and troubleshoot issues, notifying the supervisor of equipment breakdowns
Assist in other departments as needed and support new team member training
Follow lockout / tagout procedures and adhere to all safety regulations
Skills & Qualifications :
Strong leadership abilities with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred
Basic math and measuring skills required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment is a plus
