Route Supervisor - Rolloff

Arrow Waste has been Atlanta’s hometown waste company for over 30 years. Arrow Waste provides roll-off, commercial, and residential waste collection.

Job Summary

The Route Supervisor (Rolloff) will be responsible for leading and influencing roll-off drivers. Most of the time spent in this position is going to require frequent driver communication. A successful candidate must be comfortable having accountability conversations and setting clear expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level.

· Develop and coordinate new hire driver training. Sign-off on trainees who have successfully completed training

· Responsible for coordinating and scheduling drivers daily. Ensuring proper staffing levels to maintain quality service

· Daily recognition to drivers who achieve service and performance targets

· Daily accountability communication with drivers who do not meet performance targets

· Work closely with the Division Manager, Safety Manager, Fleet Manager, and Dispatch team to ensure alignment and prioritize daily follow-up conversations.

Education and Experience

· Education: High School Diploma or GED

· Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience. Leading company drivers (not subcontractors). Route supervision experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

• CDL (Commercial Drivers License).
• The CDL is a requirement, therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age.

Work Environment

Normal setting for this job is office setting and/or on-route.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
