IT Staffing Account Manager

Atlanta, GA or Columbus, GA

Direct Hire Role


As an Account Manager for our IT Technical staffing firm, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding their staffing needs, and ensuring our services exceed their expectations.


This role is critical in growing our local and national accounts while representing our company's commitment to excellence in IT staffing solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing client relationships in the IT staffing sector.
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand our client portfolio through proactive outreach.
  • Understand clients' technical staffing requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Coordinate with recruiting teams to ensure timely delivery of qualified IT candidates
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  • Prepare and present regular account status reports to senior management
  • Maintain accurate client information in CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate and work closely with delivery team to:
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements
  • Communicate client needs, expectations, and feedback
  • Monitor the progress of open requisitions and provide updates to clients
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for placed candidates
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the recruitment and placement process
  • Manage candidate submission and interview process
  • Ensure regular/timely and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in account management within the IT staffing industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong understanding of IT environments, technologies, and roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM / ATS and VMS platforms
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites (out of state travel may be necessary)
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
