Food & Beverage Director
The Arrowhead Bike Farm is a unique gathering point for adventurers of all kinds in the New River Gorge. With a bike shop, campground, restaurant, trails, pump tracks, and goats on site, there’s always something for everyone. We have a full service bicycle tourism experience curated for locals and visitors alike. Join our team of passionate adventurers in Fayetteville WV and the New River Gorge National Park.
The Food & Beverage Manager role is executive chef & restaurant manager for our small fast casual bar & restaurant, the Handle Bar Kitchen.

Job Description
Supervise, train, and schedule restaurant staff to assist in the following tasks as appropriateWork to develop unique, fresh, and cost effective menu and specialsIdentify and improve processesPrimary cooking and supervising of kitchen / serving staffAssist in hiring and selection of kitchen / waitstaffOversee scheduling of seasonal kitchen / waitstaffOversee implementation of Safe Food Handling practicesKeep an accurate inventory of food and supplies as neededWeekly food and beer sourcing working with various vendorsEnsure that all Kitchen equipment is in good order, clean, and meets health standardsEnsure that all paperwork is filled out accurately and timelyCarry out and enforce all ABF policies and proceduresEnsure all staff and facilities are in compliance with state / federal laws, and any other applicable standardsInteract with ABF management to help provide marketing content as requestedEnsure maintenance of beer quality and dispensing equipmentAssist as needed with other ABF operationsAny other duties asked upon staff by Arrowhead Bike Farm owners and managersQualifications
Good organizational skillsStrong independent work ethicAble to prioritize, delegate tasks, and make sound decisions quickly while maintaining a focus on the bottom lineSkillful communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Adept in cultivating positive relationships with customers; particularly adept at communicating with clarity and diplomacy to individuals from diverse cultural and organizational backgroundsKitchen / culinary experience and / or Culinary trainingCook delicious food quickly and efficientlyKnowledge of beer, wine, and associated drinks helpful, but not requiredCustomer service experienceCommunication skills necessary to deal effectively in confrontational situationsMust be able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 30lbsCompensation

Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00 / hour.
