Role Overview:

As a Job Coach / Employment Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their potential within the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation to and from residences, job sites, and community activities.

• Offer on-the-job guidance, assistance, and coaching.
• Engage in physical support tasks such as bending, assisting with lifts (if applicable), pushing, pulling, reaching, and prolonged walking.
• Assist service recipients in goal setting, documenting progress, and evaluating their development daily.
• Fulfill additional tasks delegated by supervisors.

Required Skills:

• Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
• Strong advocacy skills for others.
• Proficiency in guiding, motivating, and directing individuals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in computer and phone usage.

Qualifications:

• Preferred education in social work or psychology.
• Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Preferred training in mental health and first aid.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Access to a working vehicle with a clean driving record and active insurance.
• Completion of orientation and annual training sessions.

Schedule:

• Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
• Flexible morning and afternoon shifts.
• Weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Signing Bonus: $500 distributed upon meeting specific milestones
• Health, dental, and life insurance for employees regularly scheduled for a minimum of 24 hours per week.
• Paid time off
