Administrative position in large nonprofit organization utilizing a broad range of leadership and management skills. Responsible for the planning, management, and operation of Development, Property Management, Homeownership and Homeless Programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Management, Public Administration, or related field. A minimum of three years of successful supervisory and management experience required. Experience with housing development, property management, homeownership, and homeless programming.
Needed Attributes: Requires strong leadership, problem solving, team building, and communication skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people from a variety of backgrounds. Successful planning and grant writing experience needed.
Responsible for the leadership and management of the Agency’s Homeless, Property Management, Housing Development, and Homeownership Programs.
- Lead Homeownership, Housing Development, Property Management and Homeless Programs.
- Ensure programs are managed in a cost effective, productive, and organized manner.
- Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of workflow systems and organizational plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and performance standards.
- Oversee department planning, development of new initiatives, fund raising and grant-writing.
- Ensure effective implementation and evaluation of programs and services.
- Supervise the Homeless/Property Management Team.
- Lead the department in staff selection, training and development, performance evaluation, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee systems and procedures to forecast and monitor budgets
- Promotes the visibility, accessibility and credibility of housing services.
- Work with policymakers and funding sources on housing-related issues.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of Agency facilities.
- Represent Agency at local, state, and national meetings and ceremonies
- Work closely with representatives of federal, state, and local government; community organizations; and funding sources
- Serves as a part of the AEOA Director/Leadership Team supporting the Agency.
