Human Resources Manager

Job Description:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR functions within our adult foster care organization. You will work closely with our leadership team to recruit, train, and support staff, ensuring that we maintain a high standard of care for the individuals in our care. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and compliant work environment that values both the employees and those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new employees.
• Assist in developing and implementing employee policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to adult foster care services.
• Foster employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee recognition programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to staff regarding HR policies, benefits, and other work-related concerns.
• Assist with employee benefits administration.
• Support the development and delivery of training programs for staff, ensuring that all employees are well-equipped to provide high-quality care.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a healthcare or adult care environment.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Google G suite preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
