We're hiring a Director of New Business Development!
The Director of New Business Development is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role is key to driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and business expansion. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales, marketing, and operational goals to ensure the company's long-term success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for new partnerships, contracts, and deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to define business goals and align business development strategies with the company's overall objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor and track business development activities, providing regular reports and performance analysis to the executive team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase visibility and foster new connections.
- Identify and assess new markets and verticals for expansion and recommend action plans for market entry.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, presentations, and RFP responses to potential clients and partners.
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and working as a team to ensure sales goals are met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong track record of securing new business, establishing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically to solve complex business challenges.
- Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and business trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position with flexibility to work remotely, hybrid or in person. If working remotely, training will begin in person upon hire; from there, monthly in person meetings in Grand Rapids, MN are required. Employees must be able to attend all training offered by Arrowhead.
- This position requires travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
