POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of visitor housing, residential areas, and main campus facilities. The ideal candidate will effectively ensure safe, clean and comfortable accommodations for students, instructors and other visitors on campus. They will work within budget guidelines to maintain inventory of equipment, materials and supplies.
This is a SEASONAL OPPORTUNITY for approximately 6 months.

Knowledge of County/State/Federal health and safety codes and regulations. The job requires the ability to lead and guide the work of others and perform multiple tasks concurrently to maintain service commitments.

Responsibilities
- Cleans and sanitizes dorm rooms, offices, public areas, restrooms, and residential areas
- Vacuums, mops, and sweeps carpets and floors
- Cleans windows and mirrors
- Makes beds and changes linens
- Replenishes toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and other toiletries
- Empties and cleans trash cans and replaces liners
- Washes, dries, irons, folds, and puts away laundry
- Ability to assist with Maintenance and Culinary teams as needed
- Implement major housekeeping projects during off-season
- Reports any facility maintenance issues through MaintainX
- The employee must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to ?drive a car and willingness to travel
- Must have the ability to walk unaided up and down hills, lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, stoop and reach above their head
- This position demands frequent exposure to the weather
- Must be able to work around dust, odors, cleaning agents, etc.
- Must possess the use of long term and short-term memory
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hospitality/Customer Service experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Flexibility, collaboration, and teamwork
- Innovative and goal-oriented
- Must be fluent in English
