Arrowpoint, a MorphWorks company, is looking for a highly motivated Business Operations Associate to support the daily operations of the organization. The Business Operations Associate will work closely with the leadership team and be responsible for providing support in various areas, including project control, procurement, contracts, logistics and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
Project Control: Support Practice Leaders in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of project financials of varying contract types. Prepare monthly project financial reports and identify potential deviations against budget or forecasts. Conduct cost, plan and contract performance variance analysis. Assist with quarterly and annual operating budget planning.
Contracts/Procurement: Oversee acquisition lifecycle, ensuring contracts/subcontracts are executed properly and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Process purchase requisitions, work with project managers and vendors to obtain quotes and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
Office Administration: Responsible for asset management, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, calendar management, travel arrangements, greeting visitors and other administrative duties as needed.
Resource and Process Optimization: Work with departments to implement, refine, review, and modify processes and systems. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions. Participate in the implementation of industry-specific standards to include the Cyber Security Maturity Model. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

Position Requirements
- 4 years of experience working in a business environment
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
- Experience working in government contracting industry
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
