Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Resort General Manager with a strong background in sales, marketing, and resort operations. The ideal candidate will have a an extensive resort management experience and a proven track record of increasing revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and optimizing resort performance. This role requires strategic leadership, hands-on management, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including guest services, food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and recreational facilities.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and brand recognition.
- Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
· Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality service levels and addressing any concerns promptly.
· Monitor financial performance, develop budgets, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Foster relationships with corporate partners, event organizers, and travel agencies to drive business growth.
- Maintain a strong presence in the local and regional community to promote the resort’s brand and services.
- Analyze guest feedback and market trends to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in senior leadership / General Manager role
- Extensive experience in sales, revenue management, and marketing within the resort or hotel industry.
- Proven ability to lead large teams, manage multi-department operations, and drive business performance.
- Strong knowledge of resort operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with guests, staff, and business partners.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in hospitality sales and marketing.
