What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Contact Initiator position at ARS National Services?
ARS currently has a work from home position open for a Contact Initiator in the Jacksonville area. The schedule consists of Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm with an occasional Saturday shift from 9am to 1pm.
ARS utilizes a dialing platform which requires an Entry Level Contact Initiator to launch each call to be dialed. The Entry Level Contact Initiator is responsible for clicking a dialogue box on the computer screen, for a particular telephone number to be dialed. If the clicker agent fails to click on the dialogue box, the call will not be placed. The strategy is dictated by the Contact Manager and then each call will be delivered with an automated algorithm to each frontline Account representative to service.
This role will be performed remotely. The successful candidate MUST live within the Jacksonville, FL or Houston, TX area.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for clicking a dialogue box on the computer screen using a mouse. Functions for mouse movement are point, select and click.
- Ability to sit and work in front of a computer for 3-4 hours at a time.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be seated continuously and sedentary the majority of the workday. This position is currently work from home. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, headset, and voice over IP.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers; and have moderate reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, sit and see in order to perform close-up computer work and phone equipment, and requires close-up vision and color recognition.
