We are looking for a Video Analyst to join our Data Analytics department in our Chicago, IL USA Office.
The Video Analyst will play a key role in contributing to the department’s research and insights and help to connect tactical and technical video analysis with data.

Your day-to-day
- Video analysis of Soccer matches.
- Collaborating with the wider team to connect tactical and technical video analysis with data.
- Working with video and data analysis software (proprietary and commercial) to collect and analyze data.
- Contributing to analytics projects.
- Delivery of timely, reliable and high-quality video analysis reports.
- Collaborating with the Arsenal Data Analytics department in the UK.
As the department is geo-distributed, this role also requires remote collaboration with colleagues in the UK time zone and across the continental US, which may occasionally fall outside normal US Central Time business hours.
What we are looking for
- Deep knowledge of soccer either as a collegiate player or as an invested supporter.
- Passion for soccer, data, and analytics.
- Sharp eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick and self-driven learner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legally able to work in the United States of America and travel to the United Kingdom.
- Experience with tactical analysis, e.g. writing for an analytical or tactical soccer blog or website (Desirable).
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and presentation (Desirable).
- Experience with basic data analysis using R, Python or Tableau (Desirable).

Salary : $64,500 - $81,700
