What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Shipping and Stocking position at Art of Glass Wholesale?
We are seeking a person with knowledge and experience in warehouse shipping and stocking to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate outgoing shipment activities. You will also confirm everything is being packed in the boxes to help avoid clerical issues and serve as a second verification that everything being shipped out is correct.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
- Ensure products are packaged safely for transport
- Assist customers with shipping inquiries
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Confirm shipment contents as double verification.
- Stocking inventory on shelves
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- ability to lift op to 50 lbs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
