Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of pain management techniques, patient assessment, and innovative treatment modalities. The Pain Management Physician will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate pain levels and underlying conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy, and alternative therapies.
- Administer various pain management procedures such as IV infusion, Botulinum toxin treatment, and esthetic laser treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education to patients regarding pain management strategies and home care practices.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management techniques and treatments.
Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Pain Management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to pain management.
- Experience in ICU settings is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and the ability to phlebotomize when necessary.
- Familiarity with home care protocols for managing chronic pain patients.
- Prior experience with IV infusion therapies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of infant care principles is a plus for managing pediatric patients.
