Job Title: SVP, Regulatory Reporting (C14)
Duration: 10 Months contract
Location: Tampa FL 33610 (2 days in office)
Overview:
The SVP, Regulatory Reporting role is a senior position within the Controllers Organization, reporting to the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The role involves preparing, analyzing, and submitting regulatory reports to U.S. regulators (e.g., Federal Reserve, OCC) and ensuring compliance with U.S. and local reporting requirements. It offers high visibility, with opportunities to collaborate closely with Executive Management and cross-functional teams, including Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review of Transaction Testing exceptions, ensuring accuracy and identifying root causes.
- Assess data and control issues' impact on U.S. Bank Regulatory Reports.
- Oversee the timely submission of regulatory filings (e.g., FR Y-9C, Call Report, FR Y-15).
Key Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in financial services and regulatory reporting.
- Expertise in U.S. regulatory reports, Basel III, GAAP/SEC Reporting, and stress testing (e.g., CCAR).
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information and implement repeatable processes.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and present complex concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address conflicts and discrepancies.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
