US Medical, Promotional Review Scientist, Cardiovascular
Work Schedule :
40 hours per week
This position follows a hybrid working model, requiring the candidate to be onsite 50% of the time.
Position Summary :
Strategic partner that is solutions oriented and focused on ensuring medical accuracy, robust scientific evidence, and compliance with US laws and regulations.
Position Responsibilities :
Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources, and data.
Contributes strong medical advice for promotional review responsible for providing input and advice to conduct the review of promotional materials for scientific / medical validity.
Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies and tactics to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy, and appropriateness of the content of the materials / activities in accordance with relevant guidance
Proactively align and build strong relationships with commercial and other advisors / stakeholders on issues or concerns in promotional review.
Ability to demonstrate leadership within the medical promotional review community of practice, to help drive best practices aligned with strategic imperatives.
Determine acceptability of data / references used to support promotional claims and provide strong guidance as well as effective negotiation leading to resolution for pieces.
Ensures awareness of current trends within the industry
Completes all assigned SOPs and training within designated timeframe and adheres to job-specific SOPs and work instructions.
Conducts business in accordance with Client Values
Degree Requirements :
PharmD, MD, PhD preferred with minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical practice or the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience Requirements :
Prior promotional review experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Prior experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
Key Competency Requirements :
Ability to manage various projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and work with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong scientific / medical written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be a strong team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated success in driving optimal business results in a complex matrix organization required.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands :
Office environment with sitting for periods of time.
Additional Information :
Top 3-5 skills : Strong scientific acumen, medical writing, and communication skills, prior promotional review experience preferred.
