What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non Conforming Material Lead (Night Shift) position at Artech LLC?
Manages and leads a team of NCM employees. Communicates safety practices, goals, and deadlines to team. Motivates team members and provides support to supervisor, including hiring and training, and keeps supervisor updated on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among supervisor and team members.
Team Leader Job Duties :
Enforces safety policies
Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
Enforces Standard Work practices
Ensures NCM metric inputs are being met and communicates expectations to the team
Manages inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and advising supervisor when ordering is necessary
Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
Assists Supervisor with hiring processes and new team member training
Communicates deadlines and goals to team members
Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
Communicates on best practices and continuing expectations
Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives
Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards (5s practices)
Provides quality customer service, including interacting with suppliers, answering supplier enquiries, and effectively handling escalations
Supports NCM supervisor and performs supervisor duties when supervisor is absent or out of office
