What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Artemis Massage Studio?
Artemis Massage is the premier massage and body work studio in State College. We are currently looking to hire a front desk coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
- Checking clients in/out
- Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Providing high-quality customer service to clients
- Scheduling client appointments; managing therapy and/or office calendars
- Communicating promptly and clearly with therapists
- Completing misc. clerical tasks, including data entry
- Maintaining clean and orderly office, reception, and retail areas
Requirements of the position:
- Positive attitude and friendly disposition
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including adequate grammar, spelling, and composition skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Computer/software skills, including the ability to create and use basic spreadsheets and word processing programs
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Basic record-keeping and documentation skills
- Time management and organizational skills
Preferred, but not necessary:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with appointment scheduling software, especially MindBody
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, massage therapy, aesthetics, and/or health care
