Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and oversee all financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Provide support during the annual audit process for the LLC.

Financial Strategy & Analysis :

  • Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies and plans.
  • Conduct financial modeling, trend analysis, and forecasting to guide decision-making processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports, including budget-to-actual comparisons, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with department leaders to monitor program budgets, identify potential cost savings, and optimize resource allocation.

    • Reporting & Analysis :

  • Develop, update, and maintain dynamic dashboards and financial reports in Excel to track performance metrics.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial data and trends.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with proficiency in both disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, trend analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and financial reporting systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working within a nonprofit organization or managing financials for multiple entities.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel for on-site meetings.
