Artemis is seeking an Associate to support the Finance and Operations team efforts. This position will report directly to the Vice Presidents on the Finance & Accounting team. In this capacity, the new hire will work with senior management to prepare property and fund-level financial performance analysis, assist in maintaining the corporate financial database (iLEVEL), and assist with processing financial information requests. The Associate will be an integral team member, working closely with the Investor Relations, Acquisitions, and Asset Management teams as well.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the fund administration function and conduct quarterly financial statement reviews.
- Assist in fund liquidity analyses, including capital call and distribution recommendations.
- Maintain property and portfolio financial models with a focus on Fair Market Value analyses.
- Oversee the collection and maintenance of property-level financials through iLEVEL.
- Work with operating partners to onboard the joint venture accounting team to iLEVEL.
- Prepare internal asset management reports.
- Assist the Investor Relations team on responses to requests from prospective and existing investors.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting for the Acquisitions/Asset Management team.
- Review and update quarterly capital raise and investor relations pitchbooks and additional ad-hoc analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or another related field strongly preferred but not required; Real Estate or banking related internship experience strongly preferred.
- Financial modeling sufficiency required; understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, and the ability to use financial and valuation software including Excel and Argus preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Excellent critical thinking, judgment, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to perform market research, which will entail frequent travel.
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of finance concepts such as NOI returns, cash flow returns, internal rate of return, present value/discounted cash flow, and capital markets strongly preferred.
- Excellent undergraduate academic record.
- 3-6 years of professional experience.
- Excellent financial modeling skills and overall Excel experience (candidates should expect to be tested).
- Preference given to previous employment at a principal real estate firm, real estate brokerage, real estate investment banking, or public accounting firm with a focus in real estate or capital markets.
- Experience with data analytics, research, and/or database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, presentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
