Summary
The primary focus of this role is to assist in the management of the time, travel, and expense programs to maintain adherence to corporate risk and control policies. Additionally, this role will assist the broader finance organization in other support functions. These tasks may include expense coding and review, internal and external reporting requests, project accounting requests, or other accounting tasks. This role will collaborate & communicate with all members of the accounting / finance departments and operations management across the broader Company footprint and other owner-operating companies.

- Assist in the preparation and implementation of Travel / purchasing card policies / procedures
- Expense report platform user maintenance and user support
- Program compliance and control review
- Program reporting and analysis
- Lead in implementation of a standard tool, including communication and user training
- Assist accounts payable staff in additional expense coding / review
- Assist the controllership function in external reporting
- Assist with other finance and accounting support functions
- Collaborate with all members of the Accounting Department to implement process improvement initiatives to increase accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of data / reporting.
- Support the process improvement group with company-wide initiatives that may include both accounting and operational processes
- Assist both the internal and external audit functions including maintaining proper documentation according to internal control framework
- Assist in preparing special reports and studies requested by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, office equipment or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift more than 10 pounds.
