Onboarding Recruiter (Onsite position ONLY)
Location: Baxter, MN, 56425
Job Summary: The Onboarding Recruiter is primarily responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. They are responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers. The Onboarding Recruiter will ensure a smooth onboarding experience for AH employees. In addition, the Onboarding Recruiter will handle the day-to-day business administration of the company.
Qualifications:
- Will be 18 years of age or older, have a clear background check and a good driving record
- Extremely organized and able to prioritize duties
- Proficient in computers: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience using technology including telephones, scanners, printers, and computers
- Experience using social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Possesses a positive, energetic, social personality
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to be highly flexible in varying situations
- The ability to work independently and willingness to be proactive at developing skills, abilities, and duties
- Excellent at relationship building and networking
Chain of Command: The Onboarding Recruiter reports directly to the Human Resource Director
Job Responsibilities:
- Advertise Artesian Homes’ open positions through a variety of recruitment platforms
- Actively recruit candidates using social media, job fairs, referral programs, networking, etc.
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it
- Perform reference checks as needed
- Manage onboarding and new hire processes
- Organize, facilitate, and run orientation sessions for new hires
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Conduct interviews of qualified candidates
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist with exit interviews
- Leader in HRIS recruitment/onboarding software including applicant tracking
- Manages background check process
- Works cooperatively with the Human Resource department team
- Manages all employee personnel files
- Administration duties including answering phones, ensuring the office is clean and tidy, ordering office supplies, etc.
- Grocery shopping for the office
- Food preparation when trainings are held at the office
- Abide by all Artesian Homes policies and procedures
- Represent Artesian Homes, both within and outside the organization, in a manner that promotes the Mission, Vision, Values and Goals
- Undertake any additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by the Human Resource Director.
