Protect against unauthorized access, modification, or data destruction and develops IT security policies and standards. Work with end users to determine needs of individual departments. Understand internet architecture and firewall configuration to protect system security. May need to authorize user access and be familiar with domain structures and digital signatures. Contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Continually assess the ability of Arthrex systems and functionality to protect Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Cardholder data (PCI-DSS) and Intellectual Property (IP).
- Ensure the sufficiency and appropriateness of security procedures, policies and, safeguards as required by the above.
- Educate and train company personnel concerning the purpose and importance of security policies and procedures.
- Assess the risk of various security vulnerabilities and environmental factors.
- Coordinate response to security incidents and ensure timely corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop procedures to monitor and manage security related complaints and incidents.
- Recommend changes to information systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of security policies, procedures, and safeguards.
- Provide support and monitor ticketing system for incoming issues and identify, escalates, and redirects problems requiring urgent attention to appropriate resources in compliance with SLAs.
- Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades on Information Security Services managed systems.
- Monitor and manage security related complaints and incidents.
- Tier 1 support.
- Computer security-centered certifications preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
