The Redspot Technology Specialist serves a wide range of functions in support of the Redspot Support Team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as first-line support to internal and external users of the Redspot software.
Consistently provide superior customer service to Arthrex agency users and Arthrex corporate teams via email, telephone, and face-to-face interaction.
Answer questions and research problems thoroughly to provide accurate resolutions.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users on the system.
Work collaboratively with Arthrex corporate teams to provide excellent user experience.
Create relationships and connections with users whenever possible.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose software problems thoroughly and escalate bugs and critical issues as necessary.
Assist the software development team on escalated issues.
Provide training to end-users.
Effectively teach the software via web screensharing, emailing, telephoning, and stand-up presentations.
Assist with the software quality assurance process, checking for errors or issues that may be problematic to the users
Specialized Skills
Three or more years of software support experience in each of the above essential duties and responsibilities is required
Prior experience working with custom software is preferred
Prior experience working in the medical device industry is preferred
Prior end-user training experience is preferred
Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and customer accounts at any given time is required
Superior follow- through on assigned tasks in terms of timeliness, communication, and accuracy is required
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the software, process, and work is required
Ability to work independently in sometimes ambiguous circumstances is required
Prior experience working with field inventory software is preferred
Microsoft Excel knowledge is required
Knowledge of Arthrex agency inventory operations is preferred
Knowledge and familiarity with other Arthrex software applications (i.e., Salesforce, Business Portal, SAP) is preferred
Familiarity with Arthrex field operations policies and process is preferred
Excellent grammar and professional writing skills with the ability to create and edit training and process guides is required
Knowledge of HIPAA and protected health information preferred
Education/ Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
2 years of relevant work experience required
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PCs and have a command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, plus any additional communication equipment as needed.
