This role is hybrid and will require one day per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Process and input accounts payable in G / L
- Assist with client billing and process in the G / L
- Prepare and organize check-runs this includes mailing payments and filing
- Process daily cash receipts and disbursements
- Process employee expense claims : reconciliation with receipts, update payroll reimbursement list, process of GL entry into the accounting GL
- Communicate with staff for follow up actions as needed
- Assist with subcontractor hires, processing contracts and invoices
- Assist Controller with month end & year end closing
- Support Controller with annual statutory reports
- Work on specific projects and initiatives as directed by the Controller
