Crew Lead – Grading
Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Pay: Up to $23/hr (Starting pay is based on experience, with room for growth)
Schedule: Morning shift, may start between 6am-7am
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Crew Lead for our grading team. This position requires a hands-on leader who is not only experienced in grading but is also willing to perform general labor tasks alongside their crew. The ideal candidate will report directly to the supervisor and be actively involved in daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist a grading crew in daily tasks
- Operate equipment as needed (but not all day)
- Perform general labor duties—this is not just an equipment operator role
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor and crew members
- Maintain a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grading and crew leadership
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Willingness to perform labor-intensive tasks alongside the crew
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and committed to completing projects on time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
