As a Warehouse Supervisor - Inventory, Returns, Training, and Quality Management, you will oversee inventory management, returns processes, staff training, and quality management within the warehouse. You’ll ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory, optimize the back-to-stock process, manage quarantine / quality improvement inventory, and develop team members through structured training programs. The Supervisor will act as a subject matter expert in these areas and collaborate with other operational leaders to drive continuous improvement.

Article’s Warehouse department receives all our boxed furniture, inspects and adds the inventory to our system, then stores all our boxed furniture which is then loaded into delivery trucks - they ensure the right products are going to the right customers.

The main focus of your work will be Inventory, Returns, Training, and Quality Management, in addition, for some of your shifts you’ll be leading the teams on the warehouse floor.
Inventory Management
Ensure accurate tracking, storage, and movement of inventory within the warehouse.Oversee regular inventory cycle counts and lead annual physical inventory audits.Maintain inventory management procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve accuracy.Oversee inventory control measures, including the use of warehouse management systems (WMS).Back-to-Stock Management (returns)
Oversee the end-to-end process for back-to-stock items, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Maintain detailed records of returned inventory for tracking and reporting purposes.Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve the back-to-stock process.Quality and Quarantine Management
Manage the quarantine inventory process, ensuring all quarantined items are tracked, resolved, and dispositioned accurately.Lead execution of quality improvement projects on quarantined furniture.Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to effectively implement projects.Staff Training
Deliver comprehensive training programs for warehouse staff.Train team members on all warehouse functions, including inventory management, back-to-stock processes, quality standards, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Monitor and collaborate with Operations Supervisors on employee performance to identify training needs and gaps.Maintain local training documentation, guides, and resources.Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.Collaboration and Reporting
Work closely with warehouse operations teams to align inventory, back-to-stock, and quality processes with overall warehouse goals.Present reports on inventory accuracy, return rates, quality metrics, and training progress.Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems Support management in ensuring warehouse compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Who You Are :
Typically 3-5 years in warehouse operations, with a focus on inventory, returns management, or quality control. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and systems.Experience with quarantine inventory and furniture quality improvement projects.Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS / Google Suite proficiency.Excellent communication and training skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong organizational and time management skillsAble to input, retrieve, and analyze dataAble to lift / maneuver up to 100 lbs. of merchandise by yourselfAble to lift / maneuver heavy items (±300 lbs.) with a team member (team lift) and / or proper lifting equipmentA degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business is an asset but not requiredLegally able to work in the USCompletion of :Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test

The starting salary will be determined by your transferable skills, knowledge, work experience, and the hiring team’s budget, which is based on business needs, market compensation data, and internal equity.
