Lead Program Manager (Up to Director level)
We are seeking an Innovative, Problem-solving Partner to be a Lead Program Manager (up to Director-level role) in our growing, Servant-Leadership organization. The selected individual will oversee and coordinate awarded programs within the Automation Group to ensure programs are completed to specification, on time, and on budget. This role will be a player and coach, with a 70 / 30 split between leading awarded programs and leading the program management team at AutoMatrix, to ensure all awarded programs are properly staffed and setup for success.
Duties and Responsibilities (As Program Manager)
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Travel could exceed 20% (primarily during equipment installation). Travel with the installation team to facilitate on-site efforts and serve as the point of contact
- Develop a detailed project execution plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Proper use of issues lists, risk mitigation, project schedule and other program management tools to drive team and customer toward launch success
- Track project issues and risks using appropriate program management told
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report statues updates and escalate issues to management as needed or requested
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Request and ensure travel arrangements for installations are accurate and cost-efficient
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Responsible for executing end-of-job activities facilitate (and monument) lesson-learned meetings, ensure returnable items are processed timely, open items are closed, etc.

Successful candidates will have :
Incumbents should possess or demonstrate a majority of the below competencies :
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Project and other MS Office Suite software
Self-Starter with excellent time management skills
Ability to interpret equipment and product drawings, designs, and specifications
Technical bachelor degree preferred, and / or 8 years of program management experience
